The 19^th of May Commemoration of Atatürk and Youth and Sports Fest celebrations, held in the Modafen School garden with the participation of our students, were greatly enjoyed by all.

The ceremony started with everybody standing to pay homage all together to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and all the martyrs, and singing the National Anthem. Then, the joy of our students, who had great success at different sports branches, was once again shared. Our World champion students, who started their speeches with the famous quote of Atatürk: “Turkish youth! You are the ones who strengthen our courage and who help us to keep it. With the education you get and with everything you learn, you will be the invaluable examples of humanity, patriotism and freedom of thought”, talked about the meaning and importance of the day and expressed their longing for Atatürk once again. The audience were invigorated with the performance of the orchestra consisting of our students and music teachers. After the orchestra performance, which carried the energy of the school to the top level, solo gymnastics and dance shows started.

The program ended with poem recitals of our high school students, who expressed their love and longing for Atatürk with an oratorio.

Our students keeping in mind the quote of Atatürk saying: “We will leave everything to the youth. They are the hope; they are the flowers of the future. They are my greatest hope”, made us proud with their trust in the Turkish Republic.
