Utku Kurtdere, a student in our 11th grade science class, will continue his academic and athletic successes at Florida State University on a full scholarship.
Utku Kurtdere, one of our Modafen High School Swimming Team students, carried out correspondences with 18 schools including many well-known universities such as Harvard, Princeton and Yale.
Following these discussions, Utku Kurtdere revealed that he favored Florida State University, which is ranked 14th in Division 1 and has had a rising trend in swimming sports and academics over the last four years thanks to its outstanding swimming program.
Reaching Kurtdere through his profile on the College Swimming website, Florida State University assured Kurtdere that he would be in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Men’s Swimming Team, as well as a 100% scholarship offer.
