Our swimmers, who were selected from the Modafen swimming school and the Modafen Swimming Club, started the 2016-2017 season successfully. At the 10-11 year-old category swimming competition held in Istanbul in between 26-27 November 2016, in which three hundred swimmers from twenty four different clubs participated, our swimmers swam their best times. Dilara Özcan, one of our swimming club swimmers, got a gold medal at 50m breast stroke, 2 silver medals at the 50m backstroke and 100m breaststroke and 1 bronze. Therefore, she became one of the best swimmers of the competition.
Modafen swimming team, which showed a great success at the first competition of the season, are getting ready for the Istanbul and Turkey Championships, which will be held in March, April and May.
