We have come to the end of another successful year at Modafen, which saw the official founding of the Modafen Overseas Consultancy Office. This office was created to advise and prepare students who want to study at schools and universities overseas.
The pinnacle of our success was the acceptance of our Grade 12 student, Cem Yiğit Kılıç, into “Duke University Pratt School of Engineering” to study Biomedical Engineering. Several other students have been accepted by various institutions in Canada and England, as well as other parts of Europe.
We have also forged several excellent relationships with top universities in England, working together with our partner ATEC. Universities such as Warwick, Durham, City University London, CASS Business School, Kings College London, East Anglia and Leeds have visited our school to meet students and give presentations. Similarly, Mander Portman Woodward (MPW), which is responsible for the University of London International Foundation Program, incorporating the London School of Economics, visited our school. All of these universities are amongst the top universities in England, and rank very highly worldwide too.
Also, top universities from Canada, such as Toronto University and Queens University, have also visited our school. Additionally, we have made relationships with other top schools and universities around the world by visiting them directly, or at education fairs in Turkey and overseas.
To aid students in their applications, our Social Responsibility team have been creating partnerships in order to facilitate projects for our students. For example, as part of our social responsibility activities, we have created associations with “Düşler Academy” and have participated in several catering and painting projects. Several other diverse projects have been agreed for the new academic year.
Furthermore, our accomplishments are not limited to High School students. Having to relocate due to family work commitments, two of our Grade 6 students have been accepted into top schools in New Jersey/USA and Hong Kong, after being prepared for exams by the Consultancy Office. We have also arranged summer school camps and placements for numerous students, both as groups and on an individual basis.
