We are proud to have been accepted to The Harvard University Model United Nations Conference, which is one of the world’s oldest, biggest and most prestigious organizations. Our school is reaping the rewards of the importance that is given to English language and social projects by having been accepted to this wonderful conference for the second year in a row.

Modafen High School MUN Coordinators, Elif Nalbantoğlu, Head of Foreign Languages Department, and Kurtuluş Akyüz, prepared the detailed application and, coupled with the performances of our students at this year’s Conference, earned Modafen High School the privilege of being invited to Harvard MUN 2014, leaving other prestigious schools behind.

At the 61^st Harvard MUN, which will take place between January 30^th and February 2^nd 2014, our school will represent both Algeria and Liechtenstein. Also, because of the fact that our number of delegates has been increased from 12 to 22, many more of our high school students will have the opportunity to experience this huge event.

Our students will go through a detailed application and selection process in order to earn the right to participate at Harvard MUN where they will get the chance to meet students from all around the world, discuss world’s problems and use their English. An intense preparation marathon in the MUN Club, run by our English teachers, awaits the 22 selected students.
