As we come to the end of the first semester, we would like to inform you of the successes of some of our students who have applied to overseas universities and schools.
From last year’s gardautes, Cem Yigit Kilic is studying Biomedical Engineering at Duke University in the US. İrem Nur Karaman is studying Management at Norwich Business School in the UK. Koray Tezcanlı is studying Economics at Toronto University in Canada.
Ogul Suleyman Berkel, currently in Grade 12, has applied to several universities in England. He has been offered a place to study Business and Management, or Airline, Airport and Aviation Management, at the following universities: West London, Sussex, Brunel, Kingston, and London Metropolitan.
Berkay Gumusgerdan, again in Grade 12, has applied to several universities in England and America to study Business. He has been given offers from the following universities in America: Lynn University (Scholarship), Cal State Long Beach, Pace University and Bryant University. Also, he has offers from the following UK universities: King’s College, Royal Holloway, INTO City, Brunel, Richmond, Westminster (Kaplan).
On a similar note, two of our Grade 6 students from last year relocated to other countries due to their parent’s work circumstances. Uras Bazna moved to New Jersey and is currently attending the Montclair Kimberley Academy, one of the top schools in the region. Sarp Ertam was our other student who moved and is currently attending the Canadian International School in Hong Kong, again one of the top schools in the country. Sarp is the first Turkish student to study at this school and arranged for our National Flag to be hung in the school’s “Hall of Flags”. We are also proud to report that Sarp won the “Best Sportsmanship” award in the Hong Kong Basketball Academy Premier League as well as the “Principled” award for Grade 7.
We would also like to thank our Overseas Education Advisory and Preparatory Office for their help in preparing these students for these prestigious schools and universities. The individual attention given to each student to meet the requirements of their application, be it writing references or preparing for TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, AP or other exams, means that our students are always one step ahead when making their applications.
We wish all of our students continued success.
