A Modafen tradition, Modafen Green Day, took place in order to raise awareness of nature and to raise generations who protect nature. During the week, our students participated in various activities with their art teachers. They made leaf prints, flowers with recycled material and wrote essays about nature. They decorated the Modafen tree and wrote messages on its leaves. English teacher Miss Julie and 2nd grade students made kimono with recycled material. Activities like making book marks, grass men and brainteasers entertained and taught the students. The day came to an end after students had planted trees in Şile-Üveyzi village.
