Modafen where in Boston, America to participate in the Harvard Model United Nations Conference, organised by Harvard University, for the fifth time. The students took the role of United Nations delegates and debated important world topics, competing with many renowned schools.
In order to congratulate the 13 students who successfully took part in the conference, the “Harvard Model United Nations Certificate Ceremony” took place on 16 February. Our Head of International Affairs, Kurtuluş Akyüz, opened the Ceremony with a presentation summarising the 8-day trip. Then, each of the 13 students took the stage to express their thoughts on the conference, speaking confidently with their English accents.
The exciting Ceremony ended with Academic Co-ordinator and Head of Foreign Languages, Elif Nalbantoğlu, awarding certificates and medals to each of the 13 students who participated.
