From 17^th November until 20^th November, our School Coordinator, Elif Nalbantoglu, and Head of International Affairs, Kurtulus Akyuz, attended the CIS Forum in Edinburgh in Scotland.

The CIS (Council of International Schools) is a membership community committed to high quality international education with a desire to provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities to pursue their lives as global citizens.

The aim of the CIS Forum is to create a platform for member institutions to meet and build beneficial relationships that will at first aid our school in becoming a truly international school and consequently help our students in achieving their aspirations of being accepted into the best universities worldwide.

Modafen was one of 311 schools from around the world, of which 15 were from Turkey. Also in attendance were 370 international universities. These schools and universities represented a total of 89 different countries and included many of the top secondary and tertiary educational institutions globally.

Our stand at the school fair publicised the diversity of the Modafen student and generated great interest from the admiring representatives of the other institutions. Current and future plans and projects were shared, information on admissions and counselling best-practices were exchanged, and important educational contacts were created.

By attending events such as this, Modafen endeavours to give our students the best possible advice and opportunities regarding their university requirements.
