Our grade 5 students’, Ali Faruk Yücel#756 and Cengiz Kaan Kuşcu’s#679, ice hockey team, “Ice Pirates”, were runners-up in Turkey.
13 clubs, 25 teams and 252 athletes participated in the competition organized by Turkey Ice Hockey Federation in Kocaeli. Competitions were held in three different categories; Juniors, Stars A, and Stars B. “Ice Pirates” completed the Junior category as Champions, and earned the runners-up position in Stars B category. Our students were extremely happy when they received their medals and trophies.
