Our high school students, who spent a week visiting Emmauscollege in Rotterdam, Holland in March for the exchange program, have hosted the Dutch students. Our students warmly welcomed 20 students from Emmauscollege when they arrived in Istanbul. Our 20 exchange guests spent a week at Modafen, attending many cultural activities.
During the programme, our English teachers Hande Merve Yılga, Julie Özçelik, Kurtuluş Akyüz and Michael Dunphy accompanied the group and they visited many cultural places such as Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, Galata Tower, Basilica Cistern, Beyoğlu and the Princess Islands.
After a week of fun and culture, our students strengthened their friendships with the Dutch students. The programme ended with a fairwell party and everyone promised to meet again next year.
