For the second consecutive year, 7 students successfully represented Modafen’s High School Team, one of 322 teams consisting of over 3000 students, at the Destination Imagination Turkish Finals (DAT17), held at the Ephesus Convention Centre in Kuşadası.

The national finals of the American based international organisation, Destination Imagination, has been held in Turkey since 2003. Students participate in two competitions in their respective categories. Firstly, the “Instant Challenge” is a problem that the students see there and then for the first time. The team is given specific materials and a 4-minute time limit to come up with a solution to the problem using the given materials. Next, the “Team Challenge” gives the team 8 minutes to present a performance that they have prepared previously. The topic of the performance is chosen at the beginning of the year from a choice of 6 options. The students used teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills to produce a worthy performance over the two days filled with fun and excitement.
