“Children’s Rights Day” was celebrated in Modafen with a program both in and outside the classroom. Children’s Rights means the whole rights belonging to children including their education, health, living, shelter, protection against physical and psychological sexual abuse rights.  These rights are theirs by birth, both legally and morally.

On the 15^th of November, an interview was held by our 6^th grade students and Turkish teachers within the framework of “World Children’s Right Day”. During the interview, the students were given detailed information about the “Children’s Rights” and they were read the articles of the “Children’s Rights Declaration”. Then the students watched a video on the topic and they talked about it. During the lessons, our students talked about the Children’s Rights Declaration and at the end of the lessons they prepared a brochure on the topic

Within the framework of “Children’s Rights Day” our students have once again become aware of the fact that they have universal rights that protect them.
