The first of The Gloria Ironman 70.3 Turkey race, held in 92 different cities worldwide every year, has been organized in Belek this year.
224 sportsmen from 60 different countries completed the race running 21.1km, after swimming 1.9 km and cycling 90.2 km. The youngest sportsman participating in the race was 18 while the oldest was 80. 25% of the participants were women.
Triathlete İpek Onaran, who is also a Maths Teacher at Modafen Schools, finished the race clocking 4hours 52 minutes 46seconds.
