Our karate students received their new belts during the Karate Belt Ceremony which was held in our sports hall. The ceremony started when Osman Ateş, Sports Department Coordinator and Karate Club Founder, made a speech. 120 karate students took exams held by The Turkish Karate Federation every four months. Those who pass the exams are entitled to wear the belt for the next level. The students successfully performed all the “kata” and basic techniques which were required depending on their belt colours.
During the Belt Ceremony, which was attended by Modafen’s teachers and parents, our students received their new belts. Having received their new belts, students shared their excitement with each other.
