The Modafen Family’s MUN (Model United Nations) Club students were in Boston, USA to attend HMUN2015 conference held by Harvard University between January 26^th and February 2^nd 2015. Our MUN coordinator, Kurtuluş Akyüz, and English teacher, Mengihan Vefalı, accompanied our students.

Modafen students took on the role of United Nations delegates and debated current world issues from the perspective of Paraguay, which was the country that they were representing during the Conference. Modafen was participating at the Harvard Model United Nations for the third consecutive year, having been chosen as one of only 6 schools from Turkey.

After a tiring preparation marathon with their English teachers, our students, who attended one of the world’s most established and prestigious organizations, got the chance to be together with 3200 students from 40 different countries, debating on the world issues using their English knowledge.

A certificate and award ceremony was held in our Conference Hall for our students who successfully represented Modafen at 62^nd Harvard MUN Conference. Our Harvard MUN team talked about their 9-day experience in Boston. Our MUN coordinator Kurtuluş Akyüz led the speeches and all of our students shared their unforgettable experience at Harvard with Modafen family.
