We are proud to celebrate the 94^th anniversary of our Republic, entrusted to the Turkish youth by the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

The 29^th October celebrations started with the National Anthem ceremony and continued with speeches delivered by our students Henna Tansuğ and Gamze Genç, who emphasized the importance of living in a democratic and modern country.

After the poem recital of our 3^rd grade students, who took great attention with the poem called “Republic”, the audience watched a video which showed the difficulties of living during the period when Turkish nation fought for the establishment of Republic; they also watched the interviews made with our foreign teachers which reflected their views on “Atatürk and Republic”

The program, prepared with great enthusiasm and joy, started with a combination of choir, drama, oratorio, and percussion. The drama performed reflected the struggle of our nation to reach their independence. The choir, under the conduction of our music teachers, sang the songs that Atatürk loved and made the audience live the joy of the Republic Day. The oratorio prepared by our Turkish Literature Department was amazing. Our ceremony ended with the percussion show of our music teacher.

We once again emphasised the importance and the meaning of our Republic with the shows we put on stage, the anthems sung, and the poems recites. The ceremony ended joyfully with the “10^th Year Anthem”, sung altogether by the audience.
