Our high school students who attended the Harvard University Model United Nations conference in Boston for the ninth time between January 27, 2022 and February 1, 2022 were eligible for certificates.

We were thrilled to be the only school from Istanbul to attend the Harvard University Model United Nations Conference, which was conducted for the 69th time this year and is still regarded one of the most prominent organizations in the world.

Our 9th, 10th and 11th grade students Aksel Kohen, Ali Ehad Türker, Alisa Ağaoğlu, Derin Avşar, Doğa Turan, Ege Balık, Ege Şehsuvaroğlu, Ekin Diniz, Elçin Yalı, Emir Ömer Tezçakar, Mehmet Alp Kobanbay, Nehir İnceoğlu, Nursima Congar Together with Süleyman Tanyolaç, Zehranur Aytop, our English Teachers Gökçe Lap and Özlem Erdir, following their long and dedicated preparation, flew to the United States for Harvard MUN 2022.

Each school represented one or two countries assigned to them by the conference administrators and discussed current United Nations topics at the Harvard MUN conference, which gathered approximately 5000 high school students from 40 different countries around the world. This year, our students were part of the Slovakian delegation at the conference.

Our students got the opportunity to meet students from all across the world, debate global concerns, and practice their advanced English abilities. They discussed social, political, economic, and scientific problems that are intimately tied to the global agenda during the sessions. We congratulate and wish ongoing success to our students who successfully represented our school and country at the 4-day Harvard Model United Nations Conference.
