Our Swimming Team athletes aged 11-12, participated in the Turkey Swimming Championship Regional Qualifying Courses held from October 18th to the 20th in Istanbul.
Our students Ela Özkan (#965), Ahmet Eren Okumuş (#2253), Can Oğuz (#1377), Aras Asrak (#1324), Deniz Bilsel (1737), Cem Berktaş (#1727), Şadi Demir Nokay (#1405), Tuna Yılmaz (#1376), Emir Elyakim, Mehmet Külhancıoğulları and Ali Külhancıoğulları from our club, achieved a great success by winning a total of 11 medals in the competitions.
In total 2520 courses took place in which 638 athletes from 67 clubs representing eight cities participated. 9 athletes from our club exceeded the time barrage determined by Turkey Swimming Federation in order to participate in the Turkey Championship and therefore became eligible to participate in the Turkey Swimming Championships for 11-12 age group which will be held in Ankara from the 5th to the 8th December 2019.
We congratulate and wish continued success to those athletes who won medals in regional competition and who will participate in the Turkey Championship.
