On the 31st of April Friday with our 3rd grade students, we visited the retrospective exhibition of Victory Vasarely who is the founder of optical art. The exhibition was at the Tophane_i Amire building.
During the exhibition which approximately 50 artworks, compromising paintings, sculptures, designs and wall carpets were displayed, our students who had worked on the Victor Vaseerly’s artwork throughout a week, had the chance of working on the optical art and therefore the exhibition helped them see the world famous optical pieces.
Hence, they had the chance of experiencing what they had learn in class theoretically and bring the theory into real life.
