The 23rd April Children’s Festival which was gifted to Turkish children by our great leader, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey, to mark the opening of the Assembly. The Festival intends to contribute to the creation of a world where children can live peacefully by developing sentiments of fraternity, love and friendship.
Modafen children reflected their beautiful emotions, friendships, and commitments to the Republic and their Leader with the shows they had prepared. The ceremony started with a moment of silence and the national anthem. Our class teacher, Esin Çalkılıç, made the opening speech. The celebrations included our students’ poems, songs, sketches, 23rd of April songs, and English, French, German, Spanish and Russian performances. At the end of the show, our class teacher Zeynep Kalkavan came on the stage as a wizard and performed an entertaining illusion show.
