Our grade 6 students had a spicy hot trip. Together with our Spanish teachers, our students visited Restaurante Mexicano Ranchero, in Suadiye, to try Mexican cuisine and to learn about Mexican culture. During the trip, even if only for one day, our students became Mexicans. They dressed, ate, spoke, sang and danced like Mexicans. With their “pancho” (Mexican blanket like shawl), and “sombrero” (Mexican hat), our students feasted on Mexican delicacies like taco, fajita and quesadilla. The cultural trip ended with local Mexican dances.
