Our U-10 Swimming Team Students won the races they attended at the 7-8 Years Old Swimming City Championship held in Istanbul in between 16-17 December.
The races, which many swimmers from Kocaeli and Sakarya also attended, drew great attention. Our swimmers were very successful at the races, which 172 swimmers from 18 different clubs participated in.
Defne Pekin (born in 2010)
Champion at 50m freestyle among 17 swimmers and at 50m backstroke among 9 swimmers.
Doruk Seyis (born in 2009)
Champion at 50m backstroke among 56 swimmers and 3rd place at 50m freestyle among 69 swimmers.
Sarp Özkan (born in 2009)
2nd place at 50m freestyle among 69 swimmers and at 50m butterfly among 16 swimmers.
Yunus Tangün (born in 2010)
3rd Place at 50m backstroke among 8 swimmers.
Also, our girls’ relay team consisted of swimmers born in 2009.
Begüm Köksaldı, Selin Ada Cengiz, Selin Tacer, Zeynep Ekşioğlu
Champion in the 4x50m freestyle, 2nd place in the 4x50m medley.
Boys’ Relay Team consisted of swimmers born in 2010;
Mert Öksüz, Kaan Karadeniz, Kerem Berktaş, Aras Gülsün
2nd Place in the 4x50m freestyle relay.
Boys’ Relay Team consisted of swimmers born in 2009;
Doruk Seyis, Sarp Özkan, Deniz Genç, Emre Tacer
3rd Place in the 4x50m medley relay.
