The Modafen teacher İpek Onaran came the second in her age category at the Ironman North America Championship, held in Texas, America on Saturday 28th April, which consisted of 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running.
With her performance, Onaran earned the chance of taking part in Ironman World Championship to be held in Hawaii on Sunday 14th October. Furthermore, the sporting and academic success of our teacher ws shown in the news on Show TV at the weekend.
