Our karate students received their new belts during the Karate Belt Ceremony which was held in our sports hall.

The belt colours which rank from white to black (white, yellow, red, green, blue, brown, black) is determined by exams put forward by The Turkish Karate Federation every four months. Those who pass the exams are entitled to wear the belt for the next level.

Last week, 85 of our karate students took the exams which took place in our school by the Turkish Karate Federation. The students successfully performed all the “kata” and basic techniques which were required depending on their belt colours. 54 of our students went from white belt to yellow, 20 of them from yellow to red, and 11 of them from red to green.

During the Belt Ceremony, which was attended by Modafen’s teachers and parents, our students received their new belts. Having received their new belts, students shared their excitement with each other.
