The Modafen Family was proud to end the 2014-2015 Academic Year with The 9^th Annual Graduation. 87 Middle School and 41 High School students received their diplomas and threw their graduate caps into the air.

Before the 9^th Annual Graduation, the alumni got together for a reunion where they chatted over a meal in the garden.

The Modafen 9^th Annual Graduation opened with a cocktail where our parents, teachers and students got together and talked about the past academic year.

With the opening announcement, our teachers took their seats. Then, the stars of the day started to take their seats wearing their graduation gowns and caps. The programme started when our teacher Pırıl Üngör Hızar took the stage to host the evening.

On behalf of Grade 8s, our social studies teacher Kamil Güner, and our student Sinan Kunkut#454; and on behalf of Grade 12s, our student Cem Yiğit Kılıç#79 spoke about their wonderful years spent at Modafen.

After the speeches, two very important awards, named after our two senior teachers, were given. The “Mehmet Durak Communication Award” was given to Atahan Özsoy#573 from grade 8 and to Cem Yiğit Kılıç#79 from grade 12. The “İlhan Obuz Mathematics Success Award” was given to Zeynep Deniz Özbay#558 and Elif Gencer#914 from grade 8 and to Dağlar Berk Erdem#1054 from grade 12. Our students received their awards from the hands of these notable teachers.

After the significant speeches and awards, it was time for the diploma ceremony. The students came to the stage, and received their diplomas from Mehmet Durak and İlhan Obuz.

Students were patiently waiting for the moment when they could throw their “mortarboards” into the air. Everyone counted down from 10 and the graduate caps were thrown high up into the air. The graduates shared their excitement with their families, teachers and friends. The outstanding ceremony came to an end with a family photo.
