The 3^rd Foreign Languages Quiz Show, held on the 5^th of December at our school, drew great attention from our students and teachers. Our students enjoyed themselves competing with each other in the second foreign languages that they had been learning. The competition was held in four different languages: French, German, Spanish, and Russian. Our students considered and debated the questions while answering them in great excitement. Two teams were selected from each language and each team consisted of 3 students with exception to the Russian group that consisted of two students. The show consisted of 3 parts and 20 questions within the scope of grammar, culture, and vocabulary. The show was also presented in 4 different languages. The jury consisted of our 2^nd Language Teachers.

The competition started with the first group, in the French language, called “Etoile ” and consisted of Kerem Korucan, Selim Erkut, Elif Olgun. They competed with the second team called “Soleil” which was composed of Ahmet Emin Bilgili, Emre Bıçakçı and Melis Arabacıoğlu. Yaşar Erk was the presenter.

In German, there were Doruk Onat Gül, Işık Uzunokur and Ali Peyami Gürtaş as the contestants in the first team called “Berlin”, while our second team called “München” was composed of Selen Sedar, Eren Tufan and Aşha Açin Kanbolat. In German, Cansu Aktaş was the presenter.

In the Spanish group, “Cervantes” was the 1^st team, while the competitors were Sarp Bayraktar, Pelin Sezer, Nihat Eligür. In the second team called “Homero”, the contestants were İpek Nehir Çelik, Dijan Daşdemir and Mina Yılmaz. Dora Çetin was the presenter.

Finally, Deniz Alp Cengis was in the 1^st team, in the Russian language, named “Тигры”, the 2^nd team was called “Львы” and Nehir Özpınar was the student. Filiz Nur Günday presented the Russian show.

The excitement was at its peak when the jury announced the results. Finally, the winning groups received their prizes. Etoile in French, Cervantes in Spanish, Тигры in Russian, and Berlin in German were the winners of the contest. As a Modafen family we congratulate our students and wish them continued success.
