Held in Edirne on March 16-17, Anatolian Stars League Swimming Group Competitions witnessed the attendance of 223 athletes from 11 provincial teams.
During the races, where mixed teams from the provinces struggled for the semi-finals, 6 Modafen swimmers competed for the Istanbul team as well. Along with the accomplishments and the medals and scores they received, our athletes contributed to the Istanbul team’s future in the semi-finals to be held in Tekirdağ on April 27-28.
From among our Modafen athletes, who displayed great accomplishments throughout the competition, Rona Çetin won 3 gold and 2 silver medals, Beyza Akyol won 3 gold and 2 bronze medals, Mina Kalkavan won 2 gold and 1 bronze medal, İnci Yazıcı won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals, Emre Aksu won 2 bronze medals and Arda Altıntaş won 1 bronze medal.
