Our Modafen swimming team won medals at Istanbul division Analig Semi-Finals.

Modafen athletes competed at Anadolu All-Star Swimming League Semi-Finals to represent Istanbul in Tekirdağ on April 27 and 28. Finally, all of our athletes came through with flying colors and won medals. Nearly 300 athletes from Bursa, İzmir, Tekirdağ, Sakarya, Yalova, Denizli, Aydın, Eskişehir and Kocaeli attended the event. Beyza Akyol won silver medal at the 100-meter freestyle swimming category, another silver medal at the 50-meter freestyle swimming, bronze medal at the 50-meter butterfly stroke; İnci Yazıcı won bronze medal at the 400-meter freestyle; Arda Altıntaş won bronze medal at 400-meter freestyle; Rona Çetin won gold medal at 50-meter freestyle; silver medal at 200-meter medley swimming; bronze medal at 100-meter backstroke category; and Emre Aksu won bronze medal at 50-meter butterfly stroke. Our team of Rona Çetin, Beyza Akyol, İnci Yazıcı and Mina Kalkavan also came in second, and won silver medal at the 4×100-meter freestyle relay race. Rona Çetin ranked first and became the only athlete to qualify for the Analig Turkey Final from Istanbul, which will be held on May 25-26 in Kocaeli.
