During January 30^th – February 2^nd, we once again became proud to take part in the Harvard MUN Conference for an 8^th year. Our 9^th, 10^th, 11^th, and 12^th grade students; İrem Ertüzün, Su Hira Arar, Zehranur Aytop, Nil Yiğitdoğan, Ahmet Efe Çörtelekoğlu, Ece Kulabaş, NurSima Çongar, Ege Balık, Yener Ciner, İlknur Ciner, Ege Şehsuvaroğlu, Ata Göker, Kuzey Bilenoğlu, Emir Öçgüder, Kaan Alaner, Efe Demirel, Ege Erim, Alara Çiftçi, Ece Topkan, Kaan Can Kımız; guided by our International relations coordinator Steve Leck and English teacher Serap Leck, set off to the USA after intense work of preparation.

Modafen attended the 67^th Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) conference, recognised as one of the most prestigious conferences in the world, that has become a traditional event for our school.

Over 4000 students from 40 different countries gathered at Harvard MUN, over the four days of the conference, acting as delegates for UN countries and debating current world topics. Modafen represented Liberia and Germany as its delegated countries.

During the sessions our students covered social, political, economic and scientific topics, using their advanced English skills to put their thoughts and viewpoints across to students from all corners of the globe.
