Modafen Theatre week, organized in connection with 27th March World Theatre Day, was full of activities.
On Monday 27th March, our teachers performed the play called “Inspector Defne”. The play consisted of many songs and was a great success. The next day, on Tuesday 28th March, Modafen Drama Club students performed the play called “39. Basamak” (The 39th Step). The play was a great success. On Wednesday 29th March, the play “The Place You’ll Go” and the play version of the children’s book “Sevdalı Bulut”, written by Nazım Hikmet, were performed. And finally, the plays “The Bourgeois Gentleman” and “the Miser” of Moliere were performed and simplified. Our students learnt that the comedy is not only to laugh but also to think and to improve yourself to be a much better person. They had the chance of getting to know the famous French playwright Moliere and to bring their own perception on his plays.
As Modafen Family, the 27th March World Theatre Day was a great success and was really full of excitement. We thank our students for the efforts they have put in and we hope that they will always know the importance of art and artist.
