With the collaboration of Modafen Turkish Language and Literature teachers, and primary school homeroom teachers’ “Modafen Book Festival” was held on 13-15 April, in our school garden. The purpose of the festival was to teach our students how to choose a book in accordance with their age and interests, to help them meet the most well-known publishing houses of the country, and to get in touch with the most important books of modern and classical literature.
Nihan Yılmaz, who has contributed a lot to Turkish literature with her work on creative reading and the books she has written for children, was also one of Modafen Book Festival’s guests. Nilay Yılmaz answered the curious questions of our students while signing her books for them.
