Our record holder high school student Demirkan Demir achieved great success at the International U-16 Swimming Championship held in Athens in between 8th-9th April.
Demirkan Demir who is also the star of the Turkish National Team became champion and got the gold medal clocking 1.05.15 at the 100m breaststroke. On the second day of the championship he received the silver medal clocking 2.19.81, missing the gold medal a split second.
Our students, who has been selected candidate for the Turkish Olympic team which will participate in 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, will represent Turkey at the World High School Swimming Races to be held at Hungary in between 20th-25th April.
