In order to reinforce learning and improve thinking in our students, we continued to meet the authors of the books we read with Zeynep Birsin. At the event we held in our school conference room on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 with all our 3rd grade students, we read Birsin’s book titled “Ege’nin Tatili” from the series of “Ege ve İpek’in Değerleri”, which consists of eight books. Our students, who are very happy to meet the authors of the books they read, also signed their books.
Feyza Hepçilingirler participated in the 4th grade writer activities with the book “Ardahan’dan Gelen Mektup”. Detailed questions of our students about her book pleased Hepçilingirler. Our students also received information on the journey of Hepçilingirler’s authorship.
Hepçilingirler, speaking at the event held in the conference hall on Friday, November 15, 2019, stated that she wanted to bring Ardahan closer to her readers with her book, and that she wanted to show her readers that there were Turkish speaking and reading peers.
